Do you know what it means to be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ?

Jesus who,

"knew no sin became sin."
(2 Corinthians 5:21)

He didn't just scoop up YOUR sins into His arms and cast them away, He became YOUR sin. Jesus became that liar, thief, adulterer, drunkard, etc., for YOU. He bore YOUR sins so that YOU would not have to suffer the torment of hell for all eternity. Jesus was bled and tortured for YOU. Jesus said,

"This is My blood... which is shed for many for the remission of sins."
(Matthew 26:28)

But YOU have to be one of those MANY? Jesus said,

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
(John 3:16)

YOU have to be a BELIEVING WHOSOEVER.

Don't cop-out by saying Jesus loves me for who I am no matter what I do. The Bible clearly says, it is God's love that sent Jesus to the world, and the Bible says that it is Jesus the Saviour who will sit in judgment upon ALL.
Will He know YOU?

"Not every one that says unto Me, Lord, Lord,
shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven;
but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in Your name?
and in Your name have cast out devils?
and in Your name done many wonderful works?
And then I will profess unto them, I never knew YOU;
depart from Me, YOU that work iniquity."
(Matthew 7:21-23)

Will He grade YOU on a curve because YOU were a basically good person?
Jesus says NO,

"Except a man be born of water and the [Holy] Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God."
(John 3:5)

God created the universe by speaking it into existence,

"And God said, let there be light! and there was light."
(Genesis 1:3)

Jesus is the Living Word,

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... All things were made by Him."
(John 1:1,3)

There is power in the spoken Word of God. Not only is the Word of God powerful for God, it is powerful for believers who speak it, as God tells us,

"So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void [empty], but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
(Isaiah 55:11)

The Word of God is not a magical incantation, it's God's promise to the world. God gave His Word to seal His promise. His name is Jesus, but YOU have to believe in order to be,

"Heirs according to the promise."
(Galatians 3:29)

God's will is a legal and binding document called the Book of Life.
To be an heir YOU must be in His will.
To be in His will YOU must be righteous.
To be righteous YOUR heart must be pure.
For YOUR heart to be pure,
it must be cleansed
by the blood of covenant,
by the blood of the lamb,
by the blood of Jesus.
